Excess fatty tissue is removed and the underlying neck muscle, the platysma, is remodeled. The doctor will then close the incisions with sutures and cover them with a dressing and tape.
After Neck Lift Surgery

You will need to keep your head elevated and wear an elastic garment for a few weeks. During this time, you will need to postpone rigorous activities. The day after your neck lift surgery, you will be able to shower and wash your hair.
